WE ARE WORKING HARD TO CONNECT EVERYONE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

This includes participating in a new federal effort to help people facing financial hardship pay for Internet service in their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.


The Affordable Connectivity Program* includes up to $30 a month for Internet service**

You may be eligible to receive this benefit if ANY of these apply:

  • Household has an income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines
  • Participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline.
  • Approved to receive benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision in the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year.
  • Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year.

Before enrolling in the ACP program, customers must either

#1 Be a current Lifeline customer or
#2 Apply through the National Verifier and receive a National Verifier ID number.

    1. The ACP is a government program that reduces the customer's broadband internet access bill.
    2. The ACP is temporary in nature.
    3. The household will be subject to the provider’s undiscounted rates and general terms and conditions at the end of the program if they continue to receive service.
    4. The household may obtain broadband service supported by the ACP from any participating provider of their choosing.
    5. The household may transfer their ACP benefit to another provider at any time.
    6. Lifeline customers may continue their existing Lifeline service without enrolling in ACP; may choose to take ACP benefits from a service provider other than their existing Lifeline provider; and may transfer ACP benefits to another provider at any time.

  6. By completing and submitting this form, I certify that I have received disclosures about the Affordable Connectivity Program and I give consent to apply the Affordable Connectivity Program credit to the service received from EATEL. I further give explicit consent to release information (PII) to the federal government through the database established for administration of the Affordavle Connectivity Program.


*The Affordable Connectivity Program replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit program, which was a temporary emergency program operated by the Federal Communications Commission. Upon its conclusion of the program, customers will be subject to regular rates, terms and conditions. Customers enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit program will be automatically enrolled in the Affordable Connectivity Program if they qualify. **The Affordable Connectivity Program is non-transferable and limited to one discount per household.
