EATEL was one of the founding sponsors of Ascension Parish's Volunteer Ascension organization and continues to be a major contributor. EATEL employees participate in fundraising efforts for the organization, including a school uniform drive and School Tools collection within the company. EATEL employees also serve on the Volunteer Ascension Board of Directors.

Volunteer Ascension’s annual School Tools Drive for needy children gets underway July 17 with the Corporate Challenge, presented by the EATEL Cares team. All Ascension Parish businesses, industry, organizations and local municipalities have been challenged to collect and drop off designated school supplies.
To drop off supplies, look for the big yellow bus at the Jambalaya Festival Assoc Office at 222 S. Francois, next to Kidz Kove off Cornerview. on July 17th from 7am to 2pm.

EATEL is a sponsor of many Ascension Chamber functions and events that are held around the parish. EATEL employees serve on boards, committees, and as ambassadors for the Chamber. EATEL employees also participate in the Leadership Ascension class each year.

EATEL is a major sponsor of the Merrill Lynch Golf Tournament which benefits the Mary Bird Perkins organization. EATEL employees participate every year to help organize this event.
EATEL donates phone service each year to the St. Jude Children's Dream Home. EATEL also sponsors the Krewe of Diversion Ball, which raises funds for St. Jude.
EATEL donates ongoing hosting and email resources to support this organization dedicated to raising awareness about Louisiana's coastal land loss in an effort to preserve this delicate and rare ecosystem.
As a communications company, EATEL provides the resources to help LA State Police issue AMBER Alerts to thousands of people throughout Louisiana. Once an AMBER Alert is issued by the State Police, EATEL automatically sends an email announcing a child has been abducted to customers, employees, and the general public. EATEL supports the Blue Star Moms by sponsoring care packages to soldiers overseas throughout the year. EATEL promotes the organization through our website as well.
EATEL is an active member of CRBA, a participant in the Habitat Home & Garden Show and a sponsor of the annual Parade of Homes.
EATEL is an active member of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors. EATEL sponsors and participates in numerous events throughout the year, including the TRENDS Seminars and the Realtors' Expo.
EATEL is an active community partner with the United Way, hosting campaign kick-off fundraisers, encouraging monthly employee contributions and providing matching funds for those donations.
EATEL is a major sponsor of this program, which provides Christmas gifts for children up to 12 years old from low-income families.
EATEL is the main sponsor of the Ascension Chamber Christmas Parade. Employees volunteer in planning efforts and float building, as well as participate in riding the day of the parade. EATEL Channel 4 provides coverage including crowd shots and interviews for the event. EATEL also provides DVD copies of the event to the Chamber to sell to the public.
EATEL supports the City leagues such as the Dixie Youth Baseball, Gonzales Soccer, Gonzales Lassie softball and Dixie Youth T-ball.
