It is EATEL's policy to recruit, hire, train, promote, and terminate persons without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. This policy is fully endorsed by the Corporation's management and is clearly understood by all supervisors, who are directly responsible for assuring compliance.
New Hire Requirements
Each employee is required to have on file in the Human Resources Department a completed copy of the corporation's "Application for Employment." Any falsification or omission of information on the application is reason for immediate dismissal. All new employees must provide documentation that establishes identity and employment eligibility as described in the "Immigration Reform & Control Act." Before anyone can be placed on the payroll, the Human Resources Department must receive satisfactory references, including, but not limited to former employers. Applicants who are offered employment must successfully complete the required employment physical.
Drug and Alcohol Policy
EATEL is committed to providing safe, healthful, and efficient working conditions for all of our employees. To further this commitment, EATEL has established a policy against substance abuse in the workplace. The purpose of this policy is to establish a clearly defined and openly communicated Drug and Alcohol Policy to help provide for the safety and security of our employees and others affected by EATEL's operations, and to protect the property and assets of EATEL.
