Port filtering policy by EATEL, Inc.
In an effort to provide the highest quality Internet service for our customers, EATEL has implemented a port filtering policy. This will reduce the spread of computer-related viruses and protect your computer from intruder access.
For the overwhelming majority of EATEL customers, this new policy will have no adverse effect whatsoever on the ability to surf the Internet, send and receive email, connect securely to a remote location over a VPN connection or even play games with other Internet users. Connecting to the Internet will become a lot safer for you and your family.
