For domestic calls:
Dial 1-800-75-EATEL. (1-800-753-2835)
Listen for "Welcome to EATEL." At the prompt enter 0 + Area Code + the number you wish to call.
Next, enter your card number + PIN. (Area code, telephone number and special PIN (Personal Identification Number which is 4-digits).
LOS allows you to call communities within the parish, or within 40 miles of the telephone office serving you, at reduced rates. LOS calls within 22 miles are capped at $15 per line. Calls made to areas between 22 and 40 miles are not included in the cap, but are billed at reduced rates.
If you are a Ascension or Livingstion parish EATEL customer, you can refer to our LOS Usage Chart for a list of cities you can call at the LOS rate if you order a service plan with LOS. Be sure to refer to the appropriate city (or wire center) from which you are calling.
If you are an EATEL Long Distance customer residing outside of Ascension or Livingston parish, please refer to your local telephone directory for the cities that you can call as part of your LOS rate plan.
